Ready. Set. Slow.

The average museum visitor looks at an artwork for lest than 30 seconds. Why the rush? Slow Art Day (founded in 2010) is an international day set aside for art lovers to take time to sit for a few minutes and contemplate an individual work of art or two, using the time to notice small details, to look at how the details interact, and to think about how the piece makes you feel. 

The Art Center by Greater Livingston County and the Pontiac Public Library will be hosts in Pontiac this year.

April 15 from 10AM-2PM.

Refreshments will be available at the Art Center.
